Thousands of Cases Handled. Thousands of Lives Protected.

When people are charged with a crime, the system they're facing is designed to do one thing: prove their guilt, regardless of the truth. Whatever the flaws of the criminal justice system, the criminally-accused have one ally—their defense attorney. For more than a decade, the Law Office of Nabiel C. Ahmed has been the go-to defender for the communities and neighborhoods of Oakland. His accomplishments are recognized by local courts all over Oakland, Berkeley, Richmond, and Concord. Our firm has resolved thousands of cases, securing hundreds of acquittals and dismissals for people whose rights were under threat.

As a former Bay Area public defender, Attorney Nabiel C. Ahmed has spent his entire career protecting the rights of the accused throughout Alameda County. Our knowledge of local law enforcement tactics and nearby judges allows us to fight for the very best results for our clients. We proudly help clients in Oakland, Berkeley, Richmond, Concord, and the surrounding areas!

As a lifelong Bay Area resident, Nabiel C. Ahmed is committed to protecting the rights of his neighbors and community. He's a local boy through-and-through: he earned his B.S. from U.C. Davis, received his law degree from U.C. Hastings, and worked as a deputy public defender for people accused of felony and misdemeanor crimes throughout Northern California. Before starting a private practice, he worked as an appellate advocate for the California Supreme Court.

In short, he has always been a defender of the accused—never a prosecutor. His work has always been devoted to keeping people out of prison and giving them the freedom that comes from factual innocence. He's passionate not only about protecting people's rights in court, but from protecting them from unlawful seizure of their property.

A veteran of the East Bay legal scene, Mr. Ahmed knows the tactics local law enforcement uses on the accused. He knows the tricks of the trade, and he knows how to counter them pound-for-pound. When you need a champion in your corner—not just a lawyer—then Mr. Ahmed is the one call you need to make.
